About Suvi
I'm a 25-year-old private tutor of English living in Milan. I'm originally from Finland but have spent a lot of time living in the UK for my studies. I have experience in preparing for language exams such as the IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge First. In addition to this I have a great amount of knowledge of applying to universities abroad. I have tutoring experience and most importantly enthusiasm towards what I do! I like ballet, art, theatre and reading and I love to watch Netflix in a language I'm learning and tell myself I am "studying" (currently Italian).

I'm an experienced tutor with a wide knowledge of especially the IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge First tests. I have lived and studied in the UK and can offer help and guidance also if you are planning to apply to university abroad! In addition to this I am a native Finnish speaker and if you are looking to start studying one of the hardest languages in the world I can offer support and most definitely a lot of fun facts and tips!
I always teach according to every individual students needs and listen to their wants and concerns. No matter what age or level you are I promise to provide a safe, non-judgemental environment where you can learn but also have fun!
I like to base my lessons on speaking since in my experience it improves language skills the most and also because I like to get to know my students and encourage them to communicate as much as possible.
