About Precilla
I was previously a college level English tutor for 3 years. I tutored students through the essay writing process with any subject. My strengths lie in developing critical thinking, thesis statements, and literature analysis. I have also graduated from one of the top schools in the nation as an Ethnic Studies major. With the increase in popularity of Ethnic Studies, I understand the difficulties students may have with subject so I constantly read the latest research, news, and nuances for the subject to be best prepared.

I like to meet with students and discuss what they'd like to improve on. Then I like to know the assignment they're struggling on and their teacher's requirements. Finally, if it is possible I would like to see their previous graded work where they had a similar problem. This will give me a good idea of the student's needs and the teacher's requirements.
