About Jordyn
I have a passion for helping students with writing because it is a useful skill in everyday life and it can be an amazing hobby to take up.
I will help students achieve their goals in writing by assisting with their struggles and guiding them on the writing skills that they wish to achieve.
I started teaching and tutoring after I graduated from high school, and a lot of my peers who have yet to graduate asked me to help them with their lessons and work that they are struggling with in English/writing.

Typically when I am working with a new student, I first like to ask if they know/have their own way of learning and understanding new things. Then, once I figure out their learning style(s), I like to then ask what do they already know/understand about the subject at hand, then I work from there.
I have worked with a lot of visual learners, where I have to write things out or draw diagrams for them to understand. I have also worked with a lot of students who learn through solely being told or shown what to do, and they can mimic it.
