About Keaton
Hi! My name is Keaton and I am a Freshman college student at Kent State University! I was originally recruited to play soccer, but I have retired my career to put my sole efforts on completing my Political Science major with a minor in Pre-Law. I am only 19 years old which makes me able to relate kids much better than most adults! I have tutored in the past in high school, was a soccer coach for two years, and have babysat for many families. My strengths include English, essay writing and editing, as well as other skills like studying. Please contact me with questions if I am fit for your child!
I enjoy working with children because I love to see their growth and improvement. At such a young age, children have had their education impacted greatly due to the pandemic. On a personal level, I tutored and babysat my aunt's three kids (a set of twins in third grade and a first grader at the time) during the thick of the shutdown in March everyday. Of course, many days came with struggles and confusion due to online schooling. But, at the end of the day, we took on each day with a growth mindset and the kids recieved perfect grades at the end of the year!
I am currently full-time student at Kent State University. I have tutored elementry, middle school, and high school students. Even though I am young, I feel I am able to relate with students better and serve as a positive role model.
