About Kourtney
I started tutoring/teaching online about 4 years ago. I began teaching ESL to students learning English and have taught children from 3-15. I've always loved reading and language arts growing up and I've enjoyed being able to help students develop in the subject over the years.
I can work with learnings to improve reading (listening/comprehension) skills, phonics, spelling, grammar, pronunciation, and writing.
In addition for English learners I can work with you to continue learning the language or to improve your English conversation skills in order to help you gain confidence in speaking the language.
I have a 4 year degree in Criminak Justice/Sociology. I've completed Masters work in Sociol Work. I am also TEFL certified.

I am TEFL certified. I have been an ESL/ELA teach for about 4 years. I currently work with students from 3 years old to about 15 years old.

When working with a new student I like to find out more about them and allow them to know more about me so that they are comfortable. I ask questions to get an understanding of what their individual goals and expectations are. If necessary/applicable I'll do a skills level assessment to find out where they're at, what their needs are, and determine a starting point.
