About Evelyn
As a student, I was always the one who looked forward to homework, being in the classroom and learning more. I remember much of my schooling fondly and would like to become the positive influences and role models that I had as a student. To help them learn and find it interesting as much as possible. All kids can struggle at something and they shouldn't feel ashamed to ask for help or need it and that's what I'm here for!
I have been tutoring since I was in Highschool, my peers, elementary schoolers and middle schoolers. No matter how old you are, you should always give yourself the best possible chance to succeed. I graduated high school from the International Academy West with Honors and an International Baccalaureate diploma and a high school diploma with a 3.8GPA. Then I moved to Los Angeles, where I got my BFA while maintaining my GPA and honors. I’ve tutored in many subjects and my strength include Math, English and History. I am also a certified substitute teacher and have completed the CBEST.
