About Thomas
As a recent college graduate I hope to pass along some of my knowledge and skills to students who are going through many of the processes I am familiar with. I was a double major in Global Studies and English at one of the top-10 private Universities in the US and was fortunate to earn a spot on the deans list on multiple occasions. I took 12 AP courses in high school and passed all of the associated exams, earning 5's in AP literature, language, world history, US history and US government. I am very eager to work with students of all levels and help them hone their writing and editing abilities. I hope that my enthusiasm and patience go hand in hand with the goals each student hopes to achieve in their academic career.

I like to introduce myself and learn about them a bit initally. Then I try to determine what they are exactly needing my help for or what assignments they need to work on. From there, talking through the assignment and reviewing any work they have already completed is important before working with them to help them decide how they would like to continue. I try to offer suggestions and guidance for some of the problems they may be having and work with them until they feel confident in the work they have completed. Finally, reviewing the steps they took and the final products in order to ensure that no items or details were ignored before they submit the assignment.
