About Isabella
My name is Bella and I love helping people learn new skills, advance their English as well as developing their creative writing skills. I like low-pressure student centered learning where we can develop your skills while circling back to topics you struggle with. I enjoy tutoring through image prompts and story-telling, I feel like this way of learning is more engaging and fun for for the both of us!
I believe it is so interesting to understand how people learn different things in different ways. Getting to talk to people about their backgrounds, culture, and trying to incorporate that into our sessions together.
Knowledge is power after all!
I have received training in tutoring for English as second language.

I like to first begin with asking a few questions in order to see where they stand with prior knowledge of the subject. Then I like tk do a couple of exercises in order for us to get to know each other better, introducing ourselves and learning where we are both from etc.
Then I like to move through some exercises discussing what it is they would like to learn through our sessions, as well as some areas (if any) they currently struggle with. We will discuss any personal goals we will work towards, and then discuss the general trajectory of our sessions together- from beginning to end!
