About Lauren

Hi!

I am a private tutor for advanced humanities, college and audition prep, as well as general subjects for middle/elementary age students! I have been tutoring for over four years and it is definitely the highlight of my day!

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA in 2018, and served as the class Valedictorian and student speaker. I am a working actress living in LA and have equal experience coaching acting, singing, dialects, and public speaking!

Whether you need help editing an essay or research paper, some general assistance with homework, or just want to nail that college audition- I'm here for you!

I began tutoring in high school to help my friends get through a rigorous pre-college, magnet program.

UCLA: 2018 Class Valedictorian and Student Speaker, Summa Cum Laude, True Bruin Distinguished Senior Award, Jack Nicholson Prize in Acting, George Burns and Gracie Allen Scholarship and Fellowship, UCLA Theatre, Film, and TV Acting Scholarship and Fellowship, National Society of Collegiate Scholars

London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art: Classical Acting, Historial Dance, Alexander Technique, Shakespeare/Classical text anlaysis

Brown Pre-College Program: History of the Modern Middle East

Young Storytellers: Mentors 5th graders on producing and writing original screenplays

About the lesson

I love to get to know my students as people first- what do you like to read, watch, do for fun? Learning can and should be fun, so it's my job to figure out how to make it just that!

Young learners: 3-6th grade

High school/College: 15-20 yr/old

Two minds are better than one! It's always important to ask for help and get a new perspective on something!
