About Lakshmi
I have been a Montessori teacher for over 6 years and a teacher for over 15 years. Using Montessori Method for teaching English Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies along with practical life for 3-to 6 year olds brought great results. My Kinder students could already read at grade 1 and 2 levels and do multiplications and divisions as well, thanks to Maria Montessori Method of education.
I want to use my classroom experience to tutor kids at home or online.
I am certified in the state of Texas to teach elementary level all subjects.
I have state issued teaching certification and Montessori certification for 3to 6 year olds. I also have an Emotional Intelligence certification and a Health Coach certification as well. The last two help me to build positive relationships with my students and their families and guide the parents about the importance of nutrition in maintaining physical and emotional health. I also teach meditation and mindfulness to children.
