About Nerlanda
I am currently a senior, working on obtaining my Bachelor's degree in English/Creative Writing at Florida International University (FIU). Academically, in these past four years, I have had extensive hours studying approaches to literature, general linguistics, modern English grammar, and creative writing techniques, so I have a well-rounded knowledge of English and literature. I also have my reading national tutoring certification and have been tutoring for over 5 years. My service stands out because with every student, I tailor our sessions to fit their needs and their learning styles. I have such a passion for teaching and recognize the importance of having someone who genuinely cares about your progress, so that is what I offer everytime I tutor you.
I enjoy the moment when we realize that you're understanding the subject and concepts we're studying! It's so rewarding to watch the improvements that happen and ultimately my goal is to bring a strategic approach to understanding English. Knowledge is the greatest asset to have in a continuously evolving world.
