About Miriam
A pharmacist by education, a teacher by calling, and a bookworm by choice!
After graduating Pharmacy School, I decided to pursue my passion, so I studied online and got my TESOL certificate from Arizona State University.
Eversince, I worked with ESL (English as a Second Language) students, SEN (Special Educational Needs) students both one-on-one, in small groups, and in mainstream classooms.
I taught English, Maths and Science.
I'm currently working as an English teacher in a British International school, along with studying for my M.Ed (Masters of Advanced Education) online.
As I got a degree online and I'm getting another online, I believe in the power of online teaching/ tutoring. Its life-changing especially during those trying times.
One of the reasons teaching is my passion is the power the teacher has to change the world, one student at a time :)
It's a huge responsibility and an amazing honour to be trusted with shaping minds.
