About Kelly
One word describes how I feel about teaching: Passion. I taught mainly high school English for 18 years. I have had to step back this year, and it is probably one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. I am not your typical English teacher, I will a lesson and make it pertain to you and your everyday life. Enthusiasm is the key to teaching. If you are not enthusiastic about your lesson, than I am doing something wrong. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
I decided to start teaching, because I have a unique learning style, and many teachers thought that I was "dumb" or just "lazy." Truth was, I just did not care to just take notes and have to learn that way.
Decided in college that if I wanted the education system to change, than I had to become a teacher.
