About Aiden
Hi! My name is Aiden Ditmars and I'm a 19 year old sophomore at The College of New Jersey. I fell in love with English from a very young age and have been reading chapter books and writing both analytically and creatively from about the age of 7. As I entered high school, I became even more attached to the art form and all the different ways I could present research, ideas, new findings, and, of course, my own creativity through words. I graduated high school number 16 in my class with a 3.98 GPA and received the Outstanding Achievement in English award at my graduation. I also scored a 35/36 on the English section of the ACT exam, which is one of the main reasons I was able to get into the college that I did. I'm honored to be in a position to help people expand their knowledge and appreciation for English and allow them to learn things their own way, thus generating a greater and more long lasting connection to the material. I hope to take them through the steps needed to be able to use the vast and versatile art form of English in any way they may need in the future.
Honestly, I love the work that I do because I love the feeling of seeing someone finally understand something that had been giving them a hard time. I have such a passion for english and all the different things that you can learn and use it for that seeing people's eyes light up when it's finally starting to click with them is something that I can relate to on a personal level and something that I strive to help others achieve.
