About Ximena
The passion of teaching is one that has birthed many great minds.
I am a sophomore at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. As a student, I can understand the different learning needs each student may have. I am also fluent in Spanish since it is my first language.
I was in need of a summer job in high school.
I have given private tutoring with neighbors, people from my town (children and adults), and my own family. I can help with math, english, and spanish.

I like to find out what style of teaching works best. My best professor ever (Calculus) quizzed the whole class in order to find out what side of the brain we "identify" with. This was the easiest task we did and the most crucial. He adjusted his teaching methods in order to make sure we could understand everything. Since then, I have believed every instructor should do this. It makes a real difference.
