About Patricia
Since 2001 I have worked one-to-one with students to help them understand their work and make strides in their learning progress. For eighteen years I have worked as an online tutor in a virtual classroom, teaching English, social studies, and writing. I work with students of all ages, from early elementary ages through adults. I first earned an Associate's Degree in Human Services, then I decided that I wanted to earn a Bachelor's degree and teach secondary ed. English, so I went back to college.
I began teaching as a Title I Reading teacher, working with students outside their classroom so they could have individual attention. After that, I taught grades 6-8 Language Arts for 10 years. For the past 18 years I have been an online English, social studies, and writing tutor.
