About Elizabeth
I am certified to teach English 7-12 and as a Reading Specialist. I have over ten years experience teaching in public and private schools. My passion for teaching is evident in my lessons and my creative approach to instruction. I have experience teaching students in grades K-12. As a tutor, I will make every effort to help my students achieve their goals through creative instruction.
I love working with students and sharing my passion for English. I enjoy teaching writing and literature. American Literature is my favorite but I enjoy all of the literature.
I have a Bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University in secondary education and I completed the Masters degree program for Special Education and Reading Specialist at Westminster College. I am certified to teach English 7-12 and as a Reading Specialist PK-12. I have experience teaching preschool and college courses. I recently worked as an adult educator and family literacy instructor.

I have worked with students in grades K-12 in a public and private school setting. The students I have taught have varied in ability from below basic to advanced.
