About Sandra
My name is Sandra and I have my Masters's degree in Communication Disorders from Adelphi University. I specialize in reading, reading comprehension, and writing. My strategies for tutoring include thinking outside of the box and providing that support you need until you have mastered these skills independently. I have had the pleasure of working with students of all ages, specifically Pre-K- 1st grade, middle school, and high school students. I love helping students reach that "Aha" moment. My goal is to help students utilize taught strategies independently.
