About Cassandra
I've loved helping people become better writers for a large part of my academic life. I used to edit my friends papers, so they could submit their assignments worry free. It was not long ago I was in high school, and I am a college student now, so I am knowledgable about the current expectations of student performance. My personal academic profile stands out with advanced placement, national honors, class presidency, and a college GPA of 3.86. I have a well rounded understanding of technical, persuasive, and creative writing. I can also guide students in beginning to intermediate algebra. Experience asside, I stand out as a tutor because of my compassion and patience for people trying to grasp new concepts.
I enjoy watching confidence develop in students when they feel comfortable explaining a subject to me. I create outlines and guides for my students, and it always encourages me when they don't need to reference them anymore. Perhaps the greatest joy is helping someone create something meaningful to them. In writing tutoring, I often get to witness what starts as a tedious chore become a personal project filled with individuality and original thought.
