About Autumn-Kyoko
I am available for tutoring via Skype & FaceTime. I can tutor grades K-12 in English, Creative Writing, Grammar, US History, World History, AP History, and Computer & Physical Sciences for grades K-8. I hold an associates degree in Science and Nursing, and am finishing a Bachelors Degree in Science & IT Project Management. I love English & History, and those were my favorite subjects in school but I also have a passion for science and healthcare.
I love to teach and I have a passion for learning. I love seeing people and kids engaged in education. I think it's important to have a strong foundation in educational staples like Math, English, History, and Science to help you throughout college and your professional life. There is constant educational materials available to everyone online and you're never too old to learn!
I am currently finishing a bachelors in Science & IT Project Management. I love education and am currently am active duty in the US Navy but am teleworking so my schedule is flexible. I have taught medical courses for the military, and have done online peer tutoring for my school as well. I hold an associates degree in Nursing Sciences and a certification in EMT-B. I'm also certified in multiple computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Complete, Adobe, and Cloud services.

I like to know what the students strengths are first, and to keep a positive attitude. I know how hard learning can be for some, as I grew up with ADD and number dyslexia. I have a lot of patience when working with children, especially ones that had IEP's, and learning disabilities. I want to make sure your child feels like they're getting the help they need and we can focus on improving areas of weakness and making sure they comprehend the material fully rather than focusing on busy work. I want to make it fun and engaging for them so they love learning as much as I do!
