About Emily
We are passionate about teaching students how to tell stories be it through essays, short stories, projects, and more. Storytelling doesn't just happen in fiction, it is apart of our daily lives. We tell stories all the time and it is important to learn the basics of communication, how to show you know a subject, and how to properly convey your idea's to an audience.
I first started tutoring in Turkey where I received my TEFL certificate. I have a bachelor's in English, creative writing, and I have written for several online blogs including beverage websites and video game websites.
We are eager to teach communication through writing and are very excited to meet you.

I first get to know the best way they learn, whether that is auditorial, visual, or by doing.
I have worked with adults and children
Students should look for people who know their subject and allow the student to do most of the work on their own instead of being told the answer. That is the best way for students to learn.
Though more personal, I recall tutoring my little nephew with his math and reading homework. He was easily distracted but together we were able to get all his work done and I could easily see his improvement, especially in reading as that was his hardest subject.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should mostly ask the best way to approach an issue rather than outright asking for the answer.
