About Nicole
I am a full time teacher in New York City who is passionate about guiding kids to learn and grow academically. I specialize in tailoring instruction to meet students individual needs. I am certified in teaching Special Education and General Education for grades K-6 and am currently working on a Masters degree in literacy.
I always knew that I wanted to be an educator. When I went to college I focused on childhood education and immediately got a teaching job in a New York City public school.
I have a bachelors degree in Childhood Education from New York University and am currently working in a Masters degree in literacy. Also, I teach full time in a New York City elementary school.

When working with a new student I like to take the time to get to know them socially, academically, and learning about their personality. Once I know them and how they learn best, I focus my instruction on their indivdiual academic needs.
I have worked with a wide variety of students throughout grades K-4. Within these grade ranges I have worked with students of varying ability levels.
