About Mary
Mary Fagan provides flute, recorder and music theory lessons for all levels and ages. Because music is about relationship, all lessons are done in person.
Various levels of lessons are offered in both group and private instruction: Early Level, Entry Level, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Ages 3-99 are welcome.
Training and background highlights include: Over 40 years of flute performances, Music Performance Major - The Catholic University of America, member of The Quantico Marine Band, The Parris Island Marine Band, The Prince William Symphony, The Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra, local praise and worship teams.
All lessons are tailored to the individuals. We start with basics and then build from there. Music reading, scales, exercises, etudes, duets and solos are incorporated in each lesson.

An initial conversation prior to first lesson to agree upon expections and outcomes. This will be done with parents and again with student during first lesson.
We will discuss any learning needs, instruments, books, fees, and behavior and payment policies.
Once these are agreed upon, lessons will be scheduled a month at a time.
