About Maria
I love playing the flute and teaching, I would be really happy to help you learn music and make it part of your life. I am the Piccolo and 3rd flute player from Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, Johnstown PA. I studied in Universidad de Antioquia, Medellín(Colombia), Conservatoir Royal de Mons, Mons ( Belgium), Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris, Paris (France) and Duquesne University, Pittsburgh (USA).
I like using different educational approaches so that students can try all of them and decide which one workd best for them.
Learning music is fun and really good to develop other skills. It is great for all ages and can improve many aspects of your life.
I enjoy planning lessons, playing with students and seeing their progress over time. I think music can bring so many good things to everyone's life , and it is a blessing to have that as my profession.
