There was no other teacher in the immediate area.
I have been involved with Native American Flute for 14 years, and currently teach group classes for both the OLLI program at Furman University, in Greenville, SC, and for Blue Ridge Community College in Hendersonville, NC.

I determine what the student needs, and tailor the instruction accordingly.
Everything from seniors to 8 yrs. old, both in classroom and individually.
Since I am the only local instructor for this instrument, (Native American Flute), if you choose another instructor, you will need to do lessons on line with someone who teaches via SKYPE.
I do not teach silver flute. There is a good instructor for that in Greer, SC.
Native Rhythms Festival, in Melbourne FL, which is a festival of arts and crafts, performance, and instruction, for those interested in the native American Flute, which is held annually.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
While the instrument I teach is a folk instrument, and it can be played by almost anyone, it is also "a simple instrument that can be made very complicated".
