About Tom
My name is Tom. I am originally from Luxembourg but moved to London for my undergraduate studies in English and History, and my postgraduate studies in Multilingualism, Linguistics and Education. I am currently in the second year of my PhD in Linguistics.
I currently am a Teaching Assistant at Queen Mary University of London in Language and Health Communication, and Research Methods is Applied Linguistics.
I am also a certified supply teacher in Luxembourg on primary school level and I have been tutoring for about 8 years mostly in German, French, English and Maths. I find tutoring a very challenging and rewarding job at the same time, as I believe it to be all about finding the right teaching/learning method for each student individually in order to push every student to its fullest potential.
