About Jalal
Hello, Jalal here! I am a PhD student at Monash University, which is a top 50 ranking university, where I also graduated with a Bachelor's of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering (Honors) with a Distinction.
I love teaching, and I have been doing it for a while, whether giving extra private lessons or at University. I did A-levels and IGCSEs myself and got As and A*s in all subjects I took.
I have always loved learning, and I hope my students share this enthusiasm. I aim to share my knowledge and help students excel and be able to get into their target universities to achieve their dreams.

I previously taught students from secondary school up to university level students.
I believe that practice makes perfect, and that the spotlight should be on the student. Therefore, my classes usually start off with evaluating where the student's skills lie, and understanding their strengths and weaknesses.
I go over concepts in detail and step-by-step, because I was a student myself, and starting slow is the way to go.
I make sure that the student understands how to solve ALL related questions, and not just that specific problem.
I focus heavily on word problems, where it is important that the student knows how to convert English into Math.
