About Elizabeth

I am a native speaker of English and I am from Singapore. I graduated with a BSc Clinical Psychology (Hons) from Kaplan, Singapore. I studied English Literature as well as English for majority of my academic history. I have taught English to A Level students in the UK when I lived there. As for Chinese, I am currently teaching conversational Chinese to new learners. I studied Chinese up to my O Levels. Do let me know the problem areas and the strengths of your child’s proficiency in both languages. A unique aspect of my tutoring is my background in Psychology, where I learnt about child development and educational psychology, as well as effective learning methods. This will enhance the tutoring efficacy in many ways.I am able to analyse and identify areas of weaknesses and strengths to work on. I consistently achieve value-added grades for all of my students through a methodical approach together with strategies to help students achieve their potential.
