About Ese (pronounced essay)
I love helping kids and waiting for them to get their "aha!" moment! Communication between the parent and tutor is priority- I truly value the parent's input and intend to use the parent's insights to help with the student's problem areas.
Tutors truly are the backbone of the home to school understanding that all students need to master at some point in their school career. If it were not for the tutors throughout elementary and middle school, I would definitely not be where I am in my current academic standing. Because of my tutor's help so many years ago, I feel that it's my responsibility to pay it forward.
I first started tutoring my neighbor's child, who was about 9 years old at the time. For 30 minutes a day, I learned as much from he as he had learned from me. The look of joy when he expressed excitement over a new and understood concept, was more than enough for me to want to help other students overcome their difficulties and give them a solid foundation in any subject.

Due to my extreme fondness for tutoring and my wish for my services to be as available as possible, my hourly rate is typically $8 an hour. If necssary, payment can be discussed upon first tutoring session.
