About Tai
Graduated with a BA in Zoology, Environmental Studies, and African Studies. Scored a 5 in my AP Human Geography in high school. Always did well in humanities classes, and have tutored English before. I love mentoring students of all ages- I primarily work with middle schoolers and high schoolers but I am open to all ages.
I have taught English before and I am fluent in 3 languages so I can empathize more with ESL students. I was a Girls Inc volunteer where I assisted elementary school girls on how to read. I went to University in the Science field and I have experience working with Tutors myself, which helps me understand the tutor to student relationship and process.

I like to get to know the student’s level in the subject and what exactly they are not understanding. Therefore we discuss the topics they are struggling most with and dive deeper into these subjects. I also want to learn more regarding the students learning style- auditory, visual, tactile, etc. These help me come up with ways to teach the subject that best fits their style of learning.
I have worked with middle- high school students.
