Experienced tutor in Guitar in Benicia, Peppino offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

have enjoyed and benefitted tremendously working with Peppino for quite some time. He is patient, fun, funny and of course amazingly skilled. It is a nice combination to learn from a world renowned guitar player who actually makes you feel like you have potential. Additionally I have had the opportunity to perform with Peppino (I was the singer) and know how truly professional and serious he is about bringing out the best in himself and those with whom he works. And, lastly, when he speaks in Italian his accent is almost perfect!
Thanks Peppino for being a truly great teacher and mentor.

It’s great to be able to learn from such an innovative composer, who also happens to be a wonderful teacher, with a mastery of many acoustic guitar styles.
I am working with him on pieces that challenge my abilities, through focussing on things like note duration and the correct fretboard fingering, and it’s improving my guitar technique and performance a great deal.
Peppino has also worked with me on composing music for the guitar, introducing me to new composition approaches which have enabled me to produce music that I wouldn’t have thought possible when I first started taking lessons with him.
I highly recommend Peppino as a guitar tutor for players of any skill level. He will help you achieve your goals, and you’ll have fun doing it.

Peppino D’Agostino transformed me from an average rock and blues strummer into an authentic guitarist. After a lifetime of strumming power chords and playing boring riffs Peppino taught me how to understand and really begin to play this beautiful instrument. In two years of studying fingerstyle with Peppino I have learned and grown more as a guitarist than in the previous 40 years of my musical life. He is remarkable because he is one of the best acoustical guitarists on the planet but he has no ego that gets in the way. He is as intuitive and skilled at teaching as he is playing guitar, fills our lessons with rigor and challenging guitar work and understands how to tailor the lessons to match my abilities so I can be successful. And, he also manages to get me laughing and we have a lot of fun! Peppino has helped me fill my life with beautiful music beyond anything I have ever experienced. He is simply the best!
