I have been teaching for 4 years all different musical genres! From learning Rock tunes, to having a student accepted into college for music performance in classical guitar!
Lessons with Derick focus on fundamental musicianship skills as a way to foster productive musical experiences.
I have a personal focus in Classical Guitar, and because of that, can teach most other styles of guitar and ukelele.
Teaching is a passion of mine. I wish to share what i know about music with others, and provide broad and new experiences for as many people as i can reach. As well, providing expertise in refining skills and creating sharper guitar players.
I received my undergraduate in music at Buffalo State College and my masters degree at CSU Fullerton. My experiences have accumulated 7 years of education and teaching.

Perfect! Derick is awesome! Super patient and great demeanor with kids. He is teaching my 9 year old and 4 year old guitar and they both look forward to their lesson each week.

Pricing varies on the basis of several variables. (Online, vs in-person travel to the student, in person student travels to me, the time of the lessons etc.). please provide as many details as possible and i will provide a rate that seems acceptable.
