About Cole
I like to teach students based on what they want to learn rather than what I think they should learn. Want to learn how to read music? I can teach you that. Want to learn how to play in a rock band but don’t care about reading music? I can teach that too. I’ve been playing guitar for 15 years now, and majored in guitar at college. I was trained in classical and jazz, but am well versed in most styles.
My guitar teacher in college asked me to run a group guitar class over the summer of 2017 and one of the students in the group asked to continue private lessons after the class was over, and I’ve been teaching ever since.

I see where a student is at skill wise, and then build a curriculum for them based off their current skill level and where they want to go.
I’ve taught students from age 10-25
Don’t start lessons unless you are serious about wanting to learn guitar. Lessons aren’t fun for either the teacher or student if the student doesn’t practice and exhibit the desire to continue learning
