I have been playing the guitar, bass, and keyboard for 4 decades. The guitar is my specialty, I have near perfect pitch, have played guitar on nearly 500 recordings.
I live and breath music!
I've learned so much from others in the industry over the years. It's my turn to give back.

Meet up, and evaluate where the student is at: musically and commitment level. Talk about how the lessons work and what I expect of my students. Learn at least one new thing each week.
From beginner to semiprofessional I've worked with every skill level. I prefer teaching students older than 12. Younger folks will be a evaluated on a case by case basis.
Find so I you can build a relationship with. If you dislike your teacher, you'll dislike your instrument too!
I've had the joy of playing in a number of Worship bands over the years! They have all been fabulous, but the best thing about playing with them is learning on the spot and playing by ear to an audience of the One!

Details
In general my students meet with me once a week, and pay monthly. I charge based on a sliding scale, but generally my rate is $100-$125 per month. I am willing to work with your budget. It's not about the money, it's about the music!
