About Enrique
Since 1989 I will taught guitar lessons for beginners, with focus in children from 7 to 14 yrs.
From 1989 to 2004 I taught in my own music school in Maracaibo, Venezuela. From 2006 to now I have been teaching guitar lessons in different places where I was working in Scientific research: Sweden, Grand Island (Nebraska), and College Station (Texas).

In very young students and/or neophytes with the instrument, I begin talking about parts of a guitar, the tune of a guitar, the keynotes, the treble clef, the pentagram, the tempo, and basic exercises: how to push the strings with the left or right hand, and how to move the other hand to produce clear sounds. The next classes are about how to learn different keynotes and tones with several easy songs.
With young students that have played guitar before. First, they have an audition, where I evaluate the students' guitar level. The next classes we select the music through which student will continue learning about keynotes and tones but with more challenge songs.
