About Kathy
Music Therapy Associates has been the premier provider of music therapy services and music lessons in the greater Lehigh Valley Area since its inception in 1990. Boasting a staff of 25 accomplished music therapists and teachers, we are excited about the opportunity to provide you with quality lessons on the instrument(s) of your choice.

Most of our teachers are professionals in the music industry, either as music therapists or professional musicians, and have bachelor's or master's degrees in a music related field.

Our director will setup a call with the student and/or parent to discuss the instrument(s) you're interested in, your goals, and gather other pertinent info (where you're located, age of student, are there any special considerations we need to be aware of, etc). We will then have a teacher contact you to setup a lesson, and determine the frequency you're interested in.
We work with individuals of all ages and skill levels, with either standard or adapted music lessons, and offer both private or group lessons.
Make sure that you're comfortable with the teacher, and that their teaching style works for you.

It's always helpful to have an idea of what day, time, and frequency you'd be looking to schedule lessons, and whether you'd prefer the teach to come to your home, or meet them at our studio.

Prices for private, hour long lessons start at $65.
Pricing is determined by the location of your lesson (either your home, the teacher's home, our studio, or online), length of lesson (we offer both half hour and hour long lessons), and whether the instrument you're intersted in is classified as a 'common instrument' or a 'specialty instrument'.
