About David
Greetings! I'm a professional teacher with over 15 years of experience. I've performed with many notable artists in Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop, World Music and many other styles. I've also been a music educator for decades. While I love many different styles of music, my deepest connection is with Jazz.
I'd be honored to help some new students find their path musically. My goals as a teacher are:
- Help you find your unique voice on the guitar
- Build strong technique and a strong foundation in theory, to remove barriers from playing what you want
-Apply what you learn through songs and improvisation to build the ability to be present in your music
-Inspire and be inspired because I love to teach and learn
I teach at students' homes . I have a sliding scale for those in need. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson.
