About Karen
I am a lifetime musician. I play and teach guitar, bass, uke, and pedal steel guitar. I also teach music theory and songwriting! I have a degree in guitar and songwriting from Berklee College of Music. I love teaching students of all ages and levels. I can help you reach your musical goals and have fun while doing it.
I have a passion for teaching music and really enjoy helping people find the joy and rewards associated with learning a musical instrument
I love sharing my knowledge and believe that every musician can benefit from teaching

Karen Sarkisian was an excellent pedal steel guitar teacher for our teenage son. She provided terrific, high-quality instruction, offered a nice balance between challenging and supporting him, and also jammed together, making the lessons a lot of fun too! We were fortunate to find Karen, a highly sought steel player for local gigs, as it was not easy to find someone who not only plays but also teaches this instrument. We highly recommend Karen!
Karen is kind, personable, and passionate about pedal steel. I have already learned a lot from just a few lessons with her and look forward to continuing to learn the instrument!
