About Mori
For over 30 years I have taught private music lessons in the Cheltenham area (Elkins Park, Jenkintown, Abington) I teach both children and adults and can teach any level and any style. Though I prefer a traditional approach, I am flexible in spirit and can go with what the student enjoys and make it work educationally. Also I have PA State Certification and currently teach at the Waldorf School of Philadelphia. Bio: Mori Behar is a professional musician currently residing in Philadelphia, PA. He received a degree in Composition from Berklee College of Music in 1981, and ever since has been refining his craft by providing music to large corporations like Verizon, Microsoft, AT&T, and small independent film studios. He has also created pieces for global media outlets such as Mall Music for Festival Walk, Hong Kong, jazz ensembles and chamber groups. He currently has over 400 tracks to his credit. He is also an accomplished performer proficient in piano, guitar, bass, contra-bass, cello, viola and all forms of percussion. Residing near Cheltenham Township, he also spends many hours instructing both children and adults in the art of music performance.
