About Michaella
If you're looking for someone who can provide one-on-one training in classical guitar or the piano, look no further. I discovered my passion for helping others to build their love of music as I trained for 4 years under the tutelage of a teacher who had earned a Doctorate of Guitar. As for the piano, I grew up learning the paino from my mom. She is a retired professional piano teacher who instilled within me my first memories of music. I teach paino and guitar lessons from my home or through Skype, depending on what works better for your schedule.
I absolutely love helping students find their passion for creating music! There is a large tecnical component to learning an instrument, but I think it's important to balance that with the creativity of playing songs that the student enjoys and wants to learn!
I first started teaching piano to children under the direction of my mom who taught paino.
I studied the classical guitar for 4 years at a beginner level, intermediate level, advanced level, and artist level under the tutelage of a professor who had a Doctorate Degree in Guitar. As for the piano, I grew up learning the piano from my mom who was a professional piano teacher.

I typically offer the first lesson for free to make sure that I'm the right teacher for you. This first lesson is mostly for me to gadge what level you're on and how I can best tailor future lessons to meet your needs.
I've mainly taught piano to children aged 8-12 years old, but I've also taught guitar to one student who was 16 years old.

Details
For an hour long piano or guitar lesson, I charge $30.
For a half hour long piano or guitar lesson, I charge $20.
I give a $5 discount per lesson for students who commit to having lessons multiple times per week
