About Anthony
Fretboard Harmony is for intermediate and advanced guitarists looking to deepen their visual understanding and mastery of the guitar fretboard. This class is a boot camp style, drill and exercise driven work out! It is stylistically nuetral, and fast paced. We will focus on the geometric harmonic shapes of the fretboard, and the melodic connective tissue in order to give you a greater competence of the entire fretboard, which can then be applied to any genre or setting. An intermediate level of standard notation reading is recommended, but not completely neccesary to benefit from the class. The shapes and techniques we learn will be applied in improvisations, and we will learn songs to use as examples.

After an initial introduction, we will jump right into the exercises! The pace and the depth of the study will vary from student to student. Imagine going to a personal trainer for a one-hour session, as the client you will want to sweat! And I will enjoy getting to know the guitar student as we are playing!
