About Immanuel
I have been playing bass and guitar since I was 11 years old. That is 15 years of playing now.
I am mostly self taught through just playing by ear and working through various books and online courses.
I did study with a teacher for a few years and I saw him model how teaching students can look.
I played in jazz band for a bit in school and also had my own personal band for a number of years.

When a student works with me we will begin working through these things.
-assessment of skill and where the student is at.
-introduction to practice modules that will increase stamina and fluidity.
-begin working with basic music theory and learning scales and how they relate to the fretboard.
-introduction to learning songs by various artists althat match their skill level.
-introduction to free jamming or improve to optimize their potential as a player.
Meeting each week and completing homework the student will experience a growth in their knowledge and capability as a player. Allowing them musical freedom with their instrument.
