About Rachel
I have always loved history, and I love to use my enthusiasm to help others succeed.
I started helping out with peer tutoring and tutoring younger grades when I was in high school, and I have continued with that as I progressed in my own education.
I am a current college student majoring in History, with minors in Anthropology and Psychology. I spent my high school and college careers helping other students through peer tutoring programs.

I like to first establish what the student knows, discuss what methods would work best for each student, and establish a couple of goals to move forward with.
I mostly work with students who are a few years below me, although I have worked with much younger and some older students, based on topic.
History is a subject in which the teacher's enthusiasm is a big factor. If the teacher isn't capable of enjoying the teaching process, the student won't enjoy learning and won't absorb as much information.
