About Nimci
I want to say that I've had a passion for History since I was in elementary school, and still do today.
I'd like to start off with the students by asking how much history they know, or have learned. I also want to see how interested they are in history.
On the first day, I could provide an easy worksheet or some trivia questions; I want to see where they are currently with their knowledge of History. If they have a specific historical period that they are interested in, I'd be happy to provide that information for them.
If they are provided with homework from their school, I will help (not providing answers of course). I want them to be able to think for themselves and outside of the box; a few hints can be provided.
My goal is for the students to like the history subject, and if they want to pass their history class, they will have to work hard and put in a lot of effort. I'm taking some of my personal time to help students in any way I can.
I have the patience, and I'd like the students to be able to communicate with me.
I'm an undergraduate student at UTA, majoring in Critical Languages and International Studies. I have just finished my minor in Military History.
I do not have experience in the tutoring field, but I am willing to teach and help students in the subject of History. I've had a passion for History since I was in elementary school. I believe teaching history helps develop a student's understanding of diversity and cultures worldwide.
