About Brucie
Hi! I'm a grad student pursuing my PhD in History at Auburn University. I currently help assist teaching world history for undergraduate students, but I specialize in United States history post 1865! I'm passionate about learning, and I would love to share my love of history!
I graduated with a B.A in history from the Universtiy of the South in 2020. I am currently pursuing my PhD in history from Auburn University.

I'd like to talk to the student beforehand to understand how they study, what their learning preferences are, and how they think I can best assist them. After getting to know the student, I will set up a schedule that works best for the student, and we will begin tutoring from there.
I currently help teach undergraduate students, but I feel my skills are beneficial to any age.
History is very personal. You will not understand history unless you are able to connect with it in some way. When looking for a tutor, I would find someone who makes you feel comfortable and heard.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Starting off, I typically ask students how they are studying history material, and what learning methods have worked for them in the past. History is not a science, it is very malleable to student's learning preferences!
