About Michelle
I am Michelle and I am a graduate of Susquehanna University 16 with a Bachelors Degree in History and I am a full time nanny for twins in Baltimore, MD. I have experience working with ages 2 months - 18 years through multiple organizations and jobs. I have been a Lead Teacher for a toddler classroom (ages 1-3), a camp counselor (ages 5-12), have volunteered with the Girl Scouts of America and Alpha Phi Omega (ages 5-15), and worked at an infant/toddler center in Belgium during my year abroad with the AFS (ages 6 months - 3). I have also been babysitting and tutoring all ages since I was 16. As an educator, I am responsible for providing children with positive learning experiences and a safe environment in which they are able to explore and flourish both mentally and physically. I strive to model kindness, patience, and respect to all children and adults that I come in contact with. Children deserve to explore, play, and learn in constructive ways that help better prepare them for their futures.
I planned to go back to school to finish my Secondary Education Degree (I was just two credits shy) but fell in love with working with infants and toddlers. I still enjoy tutoring and helping older , school-aged, children with coursework.
I graduated from Susquehanna University in 2016 with a History Degree and I have been working with children from a very young age.

When meeting a new student, I prefer to get to know them a bit. Understanding a bit about their strengths and weaknesses can help me to better assist them through their work. I think it is important that the student trusts me as an educator.
