About Isaac
Ever since I was a child, I had a passion for history. I specialize in military history from every period in both the United States and the rest of the world. I have a Bachelor's in history from the University of Louisville, as well as a soldier in the KY Army National Guard, and I have plenty of time and knowledge to pass around to younger students. I recently graduated, and after trying to decide what to do with my degree, I decided to do tutoring, and this is the first time I have thought of it. What might stand me out from other history tutors is that I wouldn't just teach random facts and dates from the past. That is not history by itself. History teaches the "why," much less the "who, what, where," and "when." I will teach my students not to just memorize facts, but to intreperate and draw there own conclusions based on sources. I can also teach them who to write like a scholar, how to make an argument and to research. I can do high school or college students. I'll teach the same way for either.
I just love history and I love talking about. The problem is, I have no one to talk about it with. I love talking about where we came from and how we got to now.
