About Eliza
Greetings.
I am an undergraduate university student in Boston studying chemistry and biology, albeit with a history minor concentration. My goal is to one day earn a doctorate in History of Science.
History has always been one of my greatest passions, and I am eager for the opportunity to share what I know. My pedagogical aim is not to have my students rote-memorizing dates, but rather to implement a holistic approach that prioritizes a comprehensive understanding of social, political, and economic context. In short, the "when" is not nearly as important as the "why" or "how".
As the saying goes, "we stand on the shoulders of giants." Only with a clear understanding of what went before can one prepare for a better future.
