About Christine
I approach learning as a hands on experience. I try to have the students be actively involved and engeged.
I love watching that lighbulb go off in a students brain when they start to understand the subject and really begin to make connections with the material.
I have known since I was a little girl that I wanted to do something related to teaching. I even went to college to get a teaching certificate. In the end I decided something other than the tradtional classroom setting was a better fit for me and I found myself working with museums and historical sites.
I have a Bachelor's degree in History. I have a Graduate Certificate in Public History. I spent several summers during college working at summer camps all across the country. After college I spent 4 months teaching English in Mexico. I spent the last decade working and volunteering at several historical sites. My primary responsibility was creating and leading educational tours for school groups.
