About Nick
I am a current junior at Ohio Wesleyan University, majoring in History Education. I am planning on specializing in American History and U.S. Government. I have always had a passion for history, and how we all are able to do the things we do today thanks to our ancestors. I am looking to get my foot in the door with tutoring, as I know it will allow me to learn how to get my students to learn and remember history to the best of their ability.
I am a member of the History Board here at Ohio Wesleyan, as well as the Education Fellows Program. I have a 3.9 GPA in my education and history classes.

Typically, I will have the student explain to me what they are struggling with and what they are having a hard time understanding. Then, I will provide a quick lesson using learning tactics that are specified for the student's age. I will ask them simple questions to boost their confidence, and then move to more open-ended questions, which will allow the student to develop a better understanding of the topic they are struggling with.
